What started as a chance New Year's meeting blossomed into a legendary Auckland romance spanning over fifty years. Together, they have built a life characterized by laughter and an unwavering commitment to family.

For many years, Joy was a key figure at Rollerworld, a specialized company known for importing and supplying top-tier skating and boarding gear. Her expertise helped outfit countless Auckland enthusiasts with roller skates, skateboards, and inline skates.

Her technical knowledge of the industry made Rollerworld a trusted name under her watch. "She knew every bearing and board in the warehouse," says a former colleague. Her dedication to the business was matched only by her service to the local community.
